This is my first blog entry to my shining (a reference to the The Shining there?.....maybe....) new blog. On these pages you shall find my ramblings on all kinds of things related to (pop) culture. Mostly i will do movie reviews. Hope you have as much fun reading my stuff as i am going to have writing it! :)

  Ars gratia artis! (?) Vuonna 2022 - 2023 saimme kokea aikamme Akilleen eli Brad Pitin saapumisen (kuva-) taidemaailmaan !  Tehkööt jokainen omat johtopäätöksensä siitä mitä tämä tarkoittaa Brad Pitille ja kuvataiteelle.... Runoilija  M. Rakkia tämä tapaus kuitenkin inspiroi ja jaan tässä hänen aihetta käsittelevän runonsa nimeltä " 22-23 " Taide.  Maailma. Fight Club (1999)

Fight Club is one of those movies that has over the years risen to a cult status where it is now considered a classic among many a movie fan. In other words you do not talk shit about Fight Club . Well, i am going to. Sort of. Gentlemen, welcome to Fight Club Let’s begin with David Fincher the director of the movie. Fincher is widely considered as one of the great big American filmmakers of today - together with for example Christopher Nolan and Zack Snyder – and his films are praised by critics and moviegoers alike. I have to say that i am somewhat bemused by the unanimous admiration his work seems to receive. I think the man has only ever made one fully coherent movie and that is Seven (1995).
